This is the now most anticipated event on the N.Ireland Dance & Hip-Hop Music Calender, it is bringing to our country probably the most iconic artist in Hip -Hop history bar none.

DJ Grandmaster Flash and his group the Furious Five were hip-hop's greatest innovators, transcending the genre's party-music origins to explore the full scope of its lyrical and sonic horizons. He is also the first man to mix two records ever and as he likes to say it himself, "the first man who used turntables as a musical instrument,in short, creating the basic vocabulary which DJs continue to follow even today.

I could go on but were would you stop with a guy who has done and achieved so much in the music world, he is a simple icon , legend , creator, inspiration and idle to so many it is an honour to bring him to our shores on 11th August.

Now what about the rest of this lineup which is simply put unbelievable, and to make it even more special is the fact all are doing this in aid of great causes in lips kids charity and fanconi anemia research fund, which is an absolute credit to all DJ's and Artists involved and with more yet to come.

Who will add to this events stature, and are going to need to be special when we are talking about the likes off already the biggest names in our local scene involved,and with names like Walsh & McAuley, Tucandeo, Gleave Dobbin, Stuart Millar, Mandy Reid and international artists like Gmf and Marc Van Gale on the lineup. I think you will agree we are going to bring one hell of a party to N.Ireland @ LIPS this August and hope you can join us on this epic day for music in our local scene.
